Writing your Will is one of the most important things you can do. It is the only way to ensure the people and causes you care about inherit the property, money and possessions you want them to.
Even if you already have a Will, it is essential to keep it up-to-date, especially after life-changing events such as getting married/divorced, a bereavement, or moving house.
Everybody’s circumstances are different and we recommend you always take professional advice from a solicitor.
Between Monday, 06 and Friday, 17 September, the local solicitors listed below will waive their usual Will Writing fees in return for a donation to Rowans Hospice Charity.
Suggested donations, which reflect the time given by the Solicitors are: £200 for a Single Will, £300 for a Joint/Mirror Will or £75 for a Codicil/Update.
All you need to do is contact one of the solicitors and arrange an appointment during the Make-A-Will Fortnight. At your appointment, your Will instructions will be taken and you will be asked to make your donation, which will then be sent to the Charity.
