Simply make a donation each time you make an everyday saving, whether that’s £2.50 from not buying a coffee, £15 from cancelling an unused gym membership, or saving £10 by switching energy suppliers. Challenge yourself to make all your little savings add up to £100 over the course of the month.
The easiest way to donate is to set up a £100 Challenge JustGiving page (Fundraise for us > Organised event), where you’ll also be able to track your progress. Why not get colleagues and friends involved and have a competition?
Here are some ideas to get you started:
Make lunch for work instead of buying it. Not buying those meal deals could save you up to £3.50 a day. Making a coffee at instead of grabbing a takeaway could add another £2.50 to your daily savings!
Download an app (such as Monzo) and set it up so that each time you make a purchase it rounds up to the nearest £1 and transfers this into a savings pot, which you can donate at the end of the month.
Swap your branded products for supermarket own brands in your weekly shop (we price checked ten everyday items, from bread to chocolate biscuits, and it saved us £9.37!)
