Sister Evelyn will lead a group in Chakra Meditation. “Chakra” is a Sanskrit word that literally means wheel or cycle. Chakras are subtle energy centres present inside every human body. The seven main chakras are situated along the spine from the sacrum at the bottom up to the crown at the top of the head. The chakra meditation helps a person to open these energy centres connected to the various organs in the body.

This Meditation is best done in the early hours of the morning as a spiritual cleansing exercise to prepare one’s body and spirit for the day. It promotes psychosomatic well-being. It removes negative energy trapped in the seven centres along the spine. It allows peace and calm to flow into one’s being. It transforms ones outlook on life through an attitude of gratitude.
